In this inaugural Bartimaeus summer work & study camp, we studied scripture, Sabbath Economics and permaculture theory; and dis hands-on projects in bio-intensive gardening, native reinhabitation, medicinal herbs, food preservation, green living and mural painting. Mid-week we hosted an alternative July 4th“interdependence day” party, featuring our house and yard re-dedication and live jazz by the Bryan McKenzie Trio.
